Gwen has decided that she loves to stand! Its pretty ridiculous!

But I think she is pretty dang cute!!!

She is just such a sweet little girl. She loves to talk to you and is starting to laugh and smile alot more.

I go back to work on Monday which stinks...but I am just grateful Tyler will take good care of her!

My daughter is beautiful! We just love her!
She is now 2 1/2 weeks old and gained a pound....and grew an inch in a half!

This is Gwen about a week old in her preemie clothes....I am sad she grew out of those already :(

Gwendolyn Stacy Daly Arrived 2/05/10 at 7:03 pm she is 5.6 pounds and only 18 inches!
She is so tiny tiny ....but sooooooooooo cute!

I am not gonna lie labor was pretty easy compared to what I thought it was going to be. I got to the hospital at 7:30 AM I was 3 cm and 90% they had me walk around - Dr gave me a tablet to start contractions. Contractions started going around 10:30 am- Dr came in and broke my water.

What a crazy feeling! I thought that was one of the coolest things!
Then when the contractions got to be around 2 min apart I got the epidural. From there we waited.

Gwen cause some problems- she was facing the wrong way and would NOT turn- also her heart rate would drop super low with every contraction. That got pretty scary almost thought I would be getting a c-section...but because my Dr was awesome I was able to deliver vaginally.

Dr came in to insert a utern catheter to monitor Gwen and to put some fluids back in for her I was dilated to a 6 and he pushed me to a 9 by inserting that in.

Then in about 30 min from there they told me Gwen was ready and to start pushing!

Only pushed for 30 min no tearing or stiches of any kind- I got her out as quick as I could when I looked at the monitor and saw her heart rate was 83....tyler later said it got way lower than that(glad he didnt tell me that then I would have freaked).

So- as you can tell easy delivery and it was worth it!

Because I am almost 39wks! Thats why!

Status Update:

1.Baby is "officially dropped"- so low the Dr couldn't feel her head! Way to go Gwen!

2.Last time we checked (2 wks ago 13th) I was already 80% effaced and dilated.

3.Gained a totally of 31 pounds so far- and a few more stretch marks this last week...I totally exploded between 37 and 39 wks, she grew so much(or I did lol)!

4.Craving- licorice, lucky charms, and pickles

5.Hoping that Gwen comes on her own before Wednesday- if not then induction here we come!

I am 31wks! Wow times goes by fast!



As you can tell I am getting bigger ...lol. But its fun to feel all her crazy movements! What an active baby she is already. We are almost totally ready for her. Thank you to everyone that came to the baby shower!

I was a goddess of fertility- because I'm pregnant :) get it?......
Okay it was kinda lame but I did make the costume....and we went to a party but I am a lame pregnant lady and was tired by midnight lol



Tyler was a zombie hitler- he looked scary.

I made the swastika- who knew that would take 3 hrs...and I felt kinda bad that I was proud of myself for doing a good job :) But he looked great and had fun!
