Amanda-Recent Account Executive/Friend

Angela-Super awesome graphic artist

Joyce-Print Coordinator/Wonder Woman

Well today was my last day at Larry John Wright- I had a wonderful time working there. I learned a lot that will help me in any future career and I met tons of wonderful people. Here are a couple of pictures from my last day. I am really getting nervous about moving- fear of the unknown is never fun.. We just finally starting the whole moving process today(little late, I know) I hope all goes well. I will keep you updated!

"Bad Attitude"

So- Apparently after taking a day off work and driving three hours to an interview for a position that has already been filled gives you a bad attitude.

Monday I drove up for an interview at a doctors office- called ahead and asked for directions get there like 30 min early so I chill at Tyler's parents house. Go over to the Dr. Office walk in and they lady says, " Oh no one called you? The position has been filled." WTF?!?! Thanks for letting me know! Are you going to compensate me for my time???

P.S. They KNEW I was coming up from the valley.

Are people in this world really that rude?

Anyways- the Lord always provides because that afternoon the hospital up there called me for a second interview :) So all in all I guess it was probably a good thing they filled that stupid position.

I feel like all my post are me venting- but isnt that what a journal type thing is for?!

Daly Family Pics!

Okay- Here is just a taste of Jills (Tylers Aunt) amazing work as a photographer!

She took some pictures for the Daly Christmas Card....Some of these are just goofy which is my favorite :)

Holy Crap- it is official. Tyler and I will be moving up to Pinetop/Showlow on December 20th. This has just happened so fast- within the last two weeks.

The reason for this crazy move is to help move along Tyler's schooling. Tyler will be attending NPC in Showlow. For the next three semesters he will be finishing up any pre-reqs that he needs, including a nursing assistant class. In the Fall of 2010 we hope to start the Nursing program (which does not have a year in a half waiting list like MCC) and go from there. The other bonus to moving up to Showlow is the new hospital that is opened up is feeding the new Nursing Students to work at the hospital. We hope to work there until we get into a PA school.

We are both interviewing with Summit Health Care this week ( The hospital up in Showlow) we hope that these interviews go well :) . We are planning on living with his parents for a little bit until we get everything settled.

I personally am excited to be close to family- we havent been for the last 2 years. I feel like even though this is completly out of my comfort zone ( nothing is completely organized or confirmed which freaks me out!) I know that this will help my family.

Sometimes you need a good kick in the pants to get things moving! ;)

Sorry I havent posted in forever- just havent had much to say until now. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday we had a great time at his parents house.

We would LOVE to visit with everyone before we leave!

Why my Husband is better than yours!

I am sitting here at work and was just thinking about how my husband is better than anyone else's :) Here are a few reasons why:

1. Great cook! This is a must because I really suck/hate cooking, Tyler makes the best pork chops all seasoned and delicious!
2. Witty, he will kick your ass in any debate or conversation...he just says the wittiest stuff!
3. Laid back, I love that he just wants to make a big cozy bed in the living room and just lay around together; because I constantly have to be doing something its nice to have someone to calm you down.
4. Control, he lets me take control because he knows thats just me :) not alot of men can do that.
5. Creative- umm have you seen his blog?! he has got the craziest thoughts running around his head, I have never known anyone so creative.
6. He cleans! He has done the dishes, vacuming, laundry, and organizing of the office all just in the last thats a good man :)
7. Support, whatever crazy ambition I come up with he is always there to support me even if its crazy! (marathon)
8. I woke up the other morning and I found a note on the TV saying " Happy Anniversary" it was our 20 month many guys remember that?!
9. Knowledge of scriptures and church doctrine, it amazes me how much I dont know or dont remember when I hear him talking about church. It really nice to have someone who you can ask questions to and get the answer without feeling completly stupid.
10. About 15 times a day I get to hear how pretty he thinks I am :)

Okay there are LOTS of other reasons but I am at work and can't write any others. Just know that I think my husband is way better than yours!

The Hell that is School/Things I recommend

So this is probably more of a venting post....but I can't understand why I (or we) pay colleges large amounts of money to do anything BUT teach you. UGH! My business law class is ridiculous.....please tell me how giving your students take home test every week and lectures that include talking about how to fill in a scantron sheet is really going to teach me about business law. Why do I need a freakin teacher when all he does is make us do take home test and learn about scantrons. All I feel like I am learning right now is how to open a book and find an answer....whoop-di-freakin-do!!!!!!!!

Anyways, besides that life is pretty much the same. I did however find out that my mom and I are going to an Oprah taping October 9th and then to Wicked performance on October 10th! My mom just turned 40 years old today in fact so its our little get-away for her birthday. I am super excited to go to Chicago I think we will have a great time!

We are both just working hard and pretty much living for the weekends :) I tried Sushi for my first time the other day and it was fabulous! I recommend going to Sekai Sushi on Gilbert and Southern wonderful service and food!

I also recently had a personal trainer for about 6 weeks, it was a great deal about 6 session for $75-$100 at Golds Gym. I highly recommend getting a personal trainer even if its for just one or two sessions, they really help you to better understand weights and how they can help you loose weight and tone up.

I am also training for the Rock N Roll marathon on January 18th! If anyone wants to join my training it "officially" starts next week, but I have been working on it for the last 3 weeks! Its great cause tyler got some rollerblades and he skates with me on my long runs, thats wonderful quality time together :)

Thats it for now, hope you all are doing well!!

Fright Night

So Ashley (sis-in-law) and I decided to dress up and go to Atomic Comics fright night. It was a pretty crazy experience, one that I will not let our children have. But enjoy the awesome pics!
PS....I think Tyler and I make a pretty sick goth couple :)

Just wanted to start out my new blog with a an update post. Tyler is the Floor supervisor at Atomic Comics in Mesa. He is doing such a great job over there! He is thinking about working in the medical we might be getting a new job at a hospital, but for right now we are great where we are at. I am working at Larry John Wright Advertising Agency as a Print Coordinator. Its a stressful job but I am learning many new skills that I know will further me :) I am also starting school August 25th taking 2 classes that will help me work towards my Business degree. BattleCat is crazy as ever we really enjoy him around the house and he is all the kid we need right now! Here are a couple of pictures!
